Murugadoss for Spyder (2017), which received decent audience reception and did fairly well at the box office.Ram Pothineni collaborated with Lingusamy for The Warriorr alongside Keerthy Shetty. While the songs were hits, the film received mixed reviews and an average response. Naga Chaitanya’s Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu, also earned mixed reactions and struggled to recover its budget. The biggest blow came for Ram Charan, who joined hands with Shankar for the high-budget film Game Changer. Despite heavy investments and massive expectations, the film turned out to be a major disappointment and a huge flop for the star. Due to such setbacks, Telugu heroes are now increasingly hesitant to work with Tamil directors.
