Dhanush and director Vetrimaaran have long planned to collaborate again, but due to their packed schedules, the project hasn't materialized yet. Dhanush, having wrapped Kuberaa, is now focusing on his next film Idli Kadai.Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran is gearing up to start a new project with Simbu. Although earlier rumors linked this film to Vada Chennai 2, official statements confirmed that Dhanush will still star in Vada Chennai 2 and the Simbu film is a different story altogether.Vetrimaaran is reportedly heading to Mumbai to meet Dhanush and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC), as Dhanush had previously given call dates for a project that’s now on hold. Sources say Dhanush has instructed his team to fully cooperate and give whatever Vetrimaaran needs, without any resistance.Interestingly, such NOC issues had previously caused friction between Dhanush and Nayanthara, especially during the Naanum Rowdy Dhaan controversy. Despite that, Dhanush has shown complete support for his mentor Vetrimaaran, allowing the Simbu-Vetrimaaran collaboration to move forward smoothly.
