MELAKA — Four enforcement officers have been remanded for five days for allegedly accepting a RM2,000 bribe to avoid taking action against a man found with someone else in a car along Jalan Melaka Mall on June 13.
The suspects, all male, were detained yesterday during an identification session at the Melaka MACC office. Magistrate Sharda Shiena Mohd Suleiman approved the remand until Saturday. The case is being investigated under Section 16(a)(B) of the MACC Act 2009.
