BANGKOK — Thailand’s opposition parties agreed to delay a no-confidence motion against suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra until the Constitutional Court rules on her case, while vowing to prevent political deadlock.

Paetongtarn was suspended after senators accused her of dishonesty and ethics breaches over a leaked call with Cambodia’s Hun Sen. Opposition leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut said parties will coordinate to maintain political stability even if she is dismissed.

Meanwhile, the embattled government, facing protests and internal dissent, swore in 14 new ministers. Paetongtarn will serve as culture minister, while deputy PM Phumtham Wechayachai becomes caretaker leader and interior minister following a reshuffle.
