SHAH ALAM — Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari will hold a special briefing on Monday for all MPs and state assemblymen, including Opposition, on the Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion to ensure transparency and accountability.
He said the state government is committed to keeping all elected representatives informed and has also requested to formally address the matter in the upcoming state assembly sitting.
Investigations revealed the April 1 explosion, which caused massive flames and a deep crater, was due to soil subsidence over years and water accumulation weakening the ground beneath the pipeline.
