Sri Reddy – A Name That Once Shook Tamil Nadu

Sri Reddy was once a name that caused a massive stir in Tamil Nadu. She boldly exposed the dark side of the Tamil film industry, accusing several prominent actors and directors of exploitation. She even staged a nude protest, which led to her arrest by the police.

Sri Reddy made her debut in Telugu cinema with the film Nenu Nanna Abaddam in the early 2010s and later acted in Aravind 2 in 2013. She has acted in only two films in total. As someone who entered the industry with dreams, she later claimed she was deceived by several big names in Tamil cinema. She alleged that actors like Srikanth, Vishal, and director A.R. Murugadoss had taken advantage of her under the pretense of offering roles.

Though she didn’t present solid proof, Sri Reddy created huge controversy by revealing sensitive details about these celebrities.

In a recent interview with Kumudam magazine, Sri Reddy said, “The names I mentioned back then are now caught up in their own problems. They’re paying the price. Karma is hitting them hard.”*

Notably, Vishal, Srikanth, and even A.R. Murugadoss are now reportedly facing personal and professional challenges. According to her, these are the very people she had accused back then—and now, karma seems to have caught up with them.
