KUALA LUMPUR — Perikatan Nasional (PN) confirmed its headquarters in Solaris Dutamas closed in April after its two-year lease expired, dismissing claims of unpaid rent as baseless.

PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the decision not to renew the lease was mutually agreed upon and approved by the coalition’s leadership. He stressed that PN’s operations continue at a temporary location while a new office is being prepared.

Selangor PN secretary Dr Afif Bahardin added that meetings and activities remain unaffected despite the lack of a permanent office.

The Solaris Dutamas HQ, used for PN Supreme Council meetings since 2020, was vacated in April. Azmin criticised media reports alleging rent arrears as irresponsible, while PN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said the matter was handled by Azmin.
