Police identify key witness in death threat case against Bersatu Armada exco

KUALA LUMPUR — Police have identified a key witness in the investigation into death threats received by Bersatu Youth (Armada) exco and company director Na’im Brundage.

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said the victim did not know the suspect, and two witnesses’ statements have already been recorded. The key witness will be called soon, as police believe they can help uncover those responsible and the motive.

No arrests have been made yet, but police are actively pursuing leads and ensuring the victim’s safety.

The case is being investigated under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation by anonymous communication.

Earlier, Na’im reported receiving death and acid attack threats from unknown individuals, citing concerns for his and his family’s safety.
