KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended condolences to PN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin over the death of his father-in-law, Datuk Abdul Ghani Ngah.
In a Facebook post, Anwar prayed for Hamzah’s family to find strength during this difficult time and for Abdul Ghani’s soul to be forgiven and placed among the righteous.
Abdul Ghani, 83, passed away yesterday at 1.45pm after being treated in ICU for complications and breathing difficulties following a house fire on June 19.
He will be laid to rest tonight at the Kampung Rapat Jaya Muslim Cemetery in Ipoh.
