The upcoming epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is being made on a record-breaking ₹4,000 crore budget, producer Namit Malhotra confirmed, making it the most expensive film in Indian cinema. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, the film features music by legends A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. Produced by Malhotra and Yash, Ramayana is planned as a two-part magnum opus.
