Director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that Soubin Shahir’s role in the upcoming film Coolie was originally written for Fahadh Faasil, but scheduling conflicts prevented him from taking it. Lokesh said he spent over six months crafting the character. Starring Superstar Rajinikanth and produced by Sun Pictures with music by Anirudh, Coolie also features Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Soubin. The much-anticipated film releases on August 14.
