Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-awaited film Coolie, produced by Sun Pictures, hits theatres on August 14. Featuring a star-studded cast including Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan, with music by Anirudh, the film promises Lokesh’s trademark action.
According to Lokesh, the first half is an emotional drama, with Rajini’s big transformation scene at interval, followed by full-on action. The story reportedly revolves around a man’s relentless quest for revenge, correcting past mistakes and reclaiming his place — all delivered in Lokesh’s signature style.
