Sixteen primary and secondary students were hospitalised with injuries, including broken bones, after their school bus overturned on Jalan Abdul Samad, Johor Baru, after hitting an open pothole.
The students, from SMK Mohd Khalid, SMK Aminuddin Baki, and SJKT Jalan Yahya Awal, were treated at Sultanah Aminah Hospital.
State Education and Information chairman Aznan Tamin assured they are receiving proper medical care and said an investigation is underway to prevent similar incidents.
