The Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) detained seven Afghan nationals at KLIA for attempting to enter Malaysia with forged visas.
Two groups — five adults and two children aged 15 to 36 — were stopped during inspections last Sunday and Tuesday, based on a tip-off. The fake visas were believed to have been obtained in Uzbekistan.
The group claimed they fled Iran en route to Malaysia. AKPS denied them entry for immigration violations, reaffirming its commitment to secure the nation’s borders against illegal migration.
