KUALA LUMPUR — Two boys, aged three and six, were found unsupervised by the roadside near Bandar Bukit Mahkota, Bangi, yesterday morning after sneaking out while their nanny was asleep.
Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said passersby brought the boys, who were unharmed, to the police station around 11.57am. Their parents later collected them safely at 2pm.
Police have recorded statements from five people, including the nanny, and are investigating the case under the Child Act 2001 for neglect. Authorities reminded parents and guardians to stay vigilant about children’s safety.
