Ismanira Abdul Manaf, mother of autistic boy Zayn Rayyan, wept in court after being ordered to enter her defence in a child neglect case. The Sessions Court ruled a prima facie case had been established against her.Her husband, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari, who faced the same charge, was acquitted.Ismanira will take the stand at 2pm, with four other defence witnesses, including Zaim.The couple had been charged with neglecting Zayn between Dec 5 and 6, 2023, from their home in Damansara Damai to a nearby stream. Zayn was reported missing on Dec 5 and found dead the following day.
