Telugu actor Nithiin recently starred in the film Thammudu. However, the movie failed to receive a strong response from audiences after its theatrical release. The film features Kantara fame Sapthami Gowda as the female lead, alongside Laya, Swasika, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva in important roles. Music for the film was composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, and it was produced by Dil Raju.

Despite high expectations, the movie underperformed at the box office and failed to make a significant impact in theatres. In light of this, the makers have now announced the OTT release. Thammudu will premiere on Netflix on August 1. The team is hopeful that the film will receive better support from viewers on the digital platform.
