Composer and singer Ikhwan Fatanna Mokhtar’s song Hening Rindu, performed by Marsha Milan Londoh, has won the Best Sound Design award at the ContentAsia Awards 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. The song, which previously won the top prize at Malaysia’s 39th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) in February, earned recognition for its outstanding sound design in the category of Asian Television Programme/Series.

Ikhwan, who co-composed the song with Wan Saleh and wrote the lyrics, expressed surprise and pride at the international honor. The AJL win brought RM100,000 and a trophy, marking Hening Rindu as a major success both locally and now internationally. This award highlights the growing global appreciation for quality Asian music and production.
