BANTING: Two people were injured in a road accident involving a Toyota Alphard and a lorry at Km38 of Jalan Klang–Banting–Port Dickson.
The crash, which occurred at about 3.45 pm yesterday, involved a white Toyota Alphard and a yellow Hino lorry.
Kuala Langat police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said initial investigations found that the lorry was heading from Morib towards Banting when the Alphard, coming from the opposite direction, suddenly lost control.
"The Alphard veered into the lorry's lane and collided with the front section of the vehicle," he said in a statement today.
The Alphard driver, a local woman in her 40s, and the lorry driver, a foreign man in his 30s, both sustained injuries and were taken to Banting Hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that both drivers held valid driving licences.
