During the Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, Hollywood’s biggest studios released high-profile trailers for the year's most anticipated films. Steven Spielberg’s return to science fiction, Disclosure Day starring Emily Blunt, received a new trailer that highlights humanity's first encounter with extraterrestrials. Universal also debuted the first footage for Minions & Monsters (the third Minions film), set in 1920s Hollywood with a release date of July 1, 2026. 

Other major trailers aired during the big game included the Ryan Gosling-led sci-fi epic Project Hail Mary, Disney's The Mandalorian and Grogu, and a cosmic look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie featuring Chris Pratt. Horror fans also got a fresh glimpse of Scream 7, which sees Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott returning to face a new Ghostface later this month.
