The release of Salman Khan’s highly anticipated war drama, Battle of Galwan, has been officially pushed from April to August 14, 2026. According to industry reports, the move aims to capitalize on the patriotic fervor of India's 80th Independence Day. The film is currently in its final week of shooting at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Factory, with production expected to wrap by the end of February. 

This delay sets up a massive box office clash with Kartik Aaryan’s monster film Naagzilla, also slated for that weekend. Director Apoorva Lakhia is reportedly overseeing a rigorous post-production schedule to ensure the final product meets the high expectations set by Salman Khan, who has insisted on not rushing the process for such a significant patriotic project.
