Director Siddharth Anand has shared new insights into his upcoming project King, which marks his latest collaboration with megastar Shah Rukh Khan following the record-breaking success of Pathaan (2023). In an interview today, Anand revealed that the film is being approached with the same freshness and intensity as a debut project, despite the high expectations from global audiences. The film is notable for featuring Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, in a major role. 

The project also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji, making it one of the most star-studded releases of the year. Anand emphasized that while he is aware of the massive bar set by Pathaan, he is focusing on authentic storytelling rather than second-guessing audience preferences. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details on the plot, which is rumoured to be an action-heavy drama tailored for the big screen.
