The makers of the mega-budget project KHxRK, which reunites legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, released a behind-the-scenes video today to silence speculation that the actresses in the promo were AI-generated. The footage confirms the use of real actors under director Nelson Dilipkumar's supervision. In a further boost to the project, veteran star Mammootty is reportedly in talks for a guest role as an "old gangster friend" of Kamal Haasan's character. 

In other major Kollywood news, Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated Jana Nayagan is reportedly eyeing a late February theatrical window following delays over censorship issues. Overseas distributors have allegedly been briefed to prepare for a release as early as today, February 26. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is expected to be Vijay's final screen appearance before he focuses on his political career, featuring a cast that includes Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol. 

Outside the theatre, the South Indian film industry is celebrating the grand royal wedding of stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, which is taking place today, February 26, in Udaipur.
