Travis Konecny provided the heroics, scoring the lone goal in the shootout to lift the Flyers past the Wild. Meanwhile, the St. Louis Blues managed to defeat the Eastern Conference-leading Hurricanes, thanks to a two-goal performance from Jimmy Snuggerud and a 31-save effort from goaltender Jordan Binnington. 

The Dallas Stars also made a statement in the Western Conference playoff race by beating the Edmonton Oilers.
