Iran launched a massive retaliatory missile barrage toward Israel today, with sirens sounding across Tel Aviv and southern Israel. Political instability is also rising within the U.S. government due to the conflict, as Joe Kent, the Trump administration's counterterrorism chief, resigned today in protest of the war. International leaders, including the EU and UK, are calling for "maximum restraint," while countries like Sri Lanka have implemented a four-day work week to conserve fuel amid the growing global energy crisis.
