Thailand's political landscape has stabilized as the Thai King officially approved the cabinet of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, according to the Royal Gazette. This approval allows the new administration to begin addressing pressing national issues, including stepping up monitoring and contingency measures for shipping and aviation as Middle East tensions disrupt key maritime routes. 

Parallel to the political transition, Thailand is facing a severe environmental crisis. The Digital Economy and Society Ministry confirmed today that the heat index could reach 60°C in early April. This extreme weather warning, cited from the Meteorological Department, has prompted urgent public safety guidance as the country prepares for record-breaking temperatures. 

The government is also coordinating safe passage for commercial vessels and assisting Thai nationals affected by regional disruptions. These multifaceted challenges—from political restructuring to extreme climate events and maritime security—represent a significant early test for the newly approved cabinet.
