A tragic stampede occurred today at an ancient fortress in Haiti, resulting in at least 25 deaths. Elsewhere in the Caribbean and Pacific, the U.S. military continues to conduct strikes on vessels suspected of involvement in regional conflicts.

In Southeast Asia, security protocols have been significantly elevated as the Songkran 2026 festival begins in Thailand, with hundreds of thousands of revelers descending on Bangkok. The Singapore Home Team has also issued a readiness alert to counter potential security risks as the effects of the Middle East conflict spread globally.
