Motive of Jealousy Suspected in College Student Murder

Kelantan police have identified jealousy as the primary motive behind the brutal murder of a 19-year-old college student in Ketereh. The victim's body was discovered in a padi field with 61 stab wounds, a discovery that has shocked the local community. Following swift investigations, four suspects have been arrested, including the victim's 19-year-old boyfriend and an elderly woman believed to be related to one of the suspects.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The victim was officially laid to rest in Kuala Kangsar today, with family members and friends gathering to pay their final respects. The family has issued a plea for privacy, asking the public not to speculate on the case while the police carry out their duties. Investigators are currently focusing on the timeline of events leading up to the night the student went missing.                                                                                           

The brutal nature of the crime has sparked a wider conversation about safety and domestic violence among young adults in the region. Police have assured the public that the investigation is being handled with the utmost seriousness to ensure justice is served. The suspects remain in remand as the forensic team processes evidence collected from the crime scene and the suspects' belongings.
