Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' debuted on Friday amid high expectations. Despite receiving varied reviews, the film had a successful opening weekend at the box office. However, recent updates suggest that adjustments are being considered by the filmmakers.

Despite not meeting the high expectations set by its predecessor 'Indian' from 1996, considered a classic in vigilante films, 'Indian 2' received criticism for its length. Reports suggest the team has chosen to cut the movie by 20 minutes. Originally 3 hours long, the new version will be around 2 hours and 40 minutes.

An official announcement regarding these adjustments is still pending, and the exact release date for the edited version in cinemas remains uncertain
