*Bus Driver in 'Crush' Video Faces Three Charges, Family Shows Support at Court*

*BATU PAHAT* — The family of Mohamad Norhadhim Sari, the school bus driver who stirred controversy by posting a video of a primary school student and referring to her as his “crush,” appeared at the Sessions Court to support him. As Mohamad Norhadhim, 24, was escorted to a police car following court proceedings, his family reassured him, saying, “Be patient Din, we are there for you,” while he wept.

In court, Mohamad Norhadhim, also known as 'Abang Bas,' pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. He faces three charges, including two at the Muar Sessions Court, with bail set at RM40,000. The charges stem from a TikTok video he posted earlier this month, in which he called a bus passenger, believed to be a primary school student, his 'crush' and 'favorite.'

The video sparked public outrage and was criticized as inappropriate and potentially constituting sexual harassment of a child. Under the Child Act 2001, recording or posting images or videos of children without parental consent violates their rights and privacy.

In response to the viral post, Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri instructed the Children's Development Department (JPKK) to file a police report.
