*KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 —* Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, the Director of Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), expressed his strong disapproval regarding the investigation into Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH).

In a brief statement to Berita Harian, he described the findings of the ongoing investigation, referred to as Op Global, as “disgusting.” His comments came after a press conference held by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) in Kuala Lumpur, where updates on the GISBH case were shared.

Mohd Shuhaily stated, “This case, I am disgusted by the findings.” He added that, due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, he could not provide further details.

Last Wednesday, the CID conducted raids on charity homes in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, rescuing 402 individuals aged between one and 17. The investigation focuses on allegations of child exploitation connected to these charity homes, believed to be linked to GISBH.

Razarudin also reported that authorities have gathered statements from 740 individuals, including 30 complainants, 216 witnesses, 392 victims, and 102 suspects, revealing connections to organized crime.
