IGP: Three suspects in Global Ikhwan-linked sodomy case to be charged!

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 — Three individuals arrested in connection with a sodomy case during the recent Op Global operation are set to be charged today at the Seremban Sessions Court.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain stated that the suspects would face charges under Sections 14(a) and 14(b) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (Act 792).

The first suspect will be charged with five counts: one under Section 14(b) and four under Section 14(a). The second suspect faces six charges under Section 14(a), while the third will be charged with three counts under Section 14(a), according to the Inspector-General.

Last week, the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department raided 20 charity homes in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan linked to GISB Holdings, rescuing 402 children and teenagers, including 201 boys and 201 girls aged between one and 17 years.
