KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — The investigation into GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) has entered a new phase, with police examining whether children rescued from its charity homes were exposed to elements of militant jihad.*
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain reported that these children were shown videos related to Abuya by the charity home's operators. Selangor Islamic Affairs and Cultural Innovation Committee chairman Dr. Mohammad Fahmi Ngah highlighted concerns about the influence of militant jihad through these screenings.
In Johor, three more individuals linked to GISBH were charged with human trafficking and sexual abuse, bringing the total charged to 11. Mahmad Hamal Tukiman, 57, and Rabiahtul Adawiyah Md Shash, 31, pleaded not guilty to trafficking four victims for forced labor.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ansarullah Tukino, 20, also pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual abuse against a 16-year-old boy. All three were granted bail with conditions, and court dates for their cases are set for late November.
