Police Hunt for Suspects After 11 Cars Vandalised, Windows Smashed, and Batteries Stolen in Lahad Datu

LAHAD DATU, Nov 9 — Police are investigating a case of vandalism and battery theft involving 11 cars in Kampung Desa Bajau, Lahad Datu, after reports surfaced on Thursday. The cars, parked in an open area, had their windows smashed and batteries stolen. While social media initially claimed 20 cars were affected, police confirmed only 11 were involved. 

Lahad Datu district police chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the suspect is still at large and being tracked. The case is being investigated under Section 379A(2) of the Penal Code. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the local police or Sergeant Martin Motuin at 016-8392694.
