Batu Pahat Motorcycle Collision: Biker Killed, Several Injured in Convoy Crash*

BATU PAHAT, Nov 11 — A 64-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a tragic crash on Batu 6, Jalan Kangkar Baru Paloh, Yong Peng, around 10:15 am yesterday. The victim, part of a convoy traveling from Segamat to Kluang, collided with an oncoming car, and then was hit by another motorcyclist following close behind. A third motorcyclist also crashed after hitting debris from the initial collision.

The victim, from Pasir Gudang, suffered fatal injuries. Two others— a 58-year-old man and his 56-year-old wife— were injured, along with the third motorcyclist, aged 29. The car driver also sustained minor injuries.

Police are investigating the incident under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and are urging witnesses to come forward.
