Dhanush is currently juggling multiple projects, including directing Itli Kaadai and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Gobam, while also starring in Itli Kaadai alongside Arun Vijay and Nithya Menon, set for release in April. He’s also acting in the bilingual film Kubera, slated for February.

In addition to these, Dhanush is involved in a biopic on musician Ilayaraja and films directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and Por Uryy director. However, recent reports suggest Dhanush has made a significant change to his lineup by turning down a collaboration with hit director Cella Ayyavu.

Cella Ayyavu, known for the success of Kata Kusti and his work with Ajith in Azhwar, had pitched a story to Dhanush, which the actor initially liked but required several revisions. Despite the changes, Dhanush ultimately declined the project. While no official announcement has been made regarding their collaboration, rumors suggest the film has been dropped. Meanwhile, Cella Ayyavu is reportedly planning a new film with Vishnu Vishal, with an official announcement expected soon.
