Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the first intake for an intensive Arabic language course at USIM's Al-Azhar Arabic Language Institute will begin early next year. The program, designed to prepare Malaysian students for further studies at Al-Azhar University, has been expedited with the support of Sheikh Al-Azhar Prof Dr Ahmad At-Tayyeb. The initiative offers a low-cost opportunity for students, professionals, and entrepreneurs, with the Malaysian government providing the venue and Al-Azhar supplying lecturers. Anwar highlighted that this collaboration reflects Al-Azhar’s confidence in Malaysia.
