Tyson Has ‘No Regrets’ After Losing to Jake Paul in Final Fight*
WASHINGTON, Nov 17 — Mike Tyson, 58, said he has no regrets after losing to Jake Paul, 27, in their heavyweight boxing match at AT&T Stadium. Despite the unanimous decision loss, Tyson, who called it his “last time” in the ring, expressed gratitude for the experience.
“This is one of those situations where you lose but still win,” Tyson posted on X. “No regrets getting in the ring one last time.”
Tyson, who nearly died in June due to health complications and required multiple blood transfusions, described his return to the ring as a personal victory. He shared that he had to fight back from serious medical issues to make the match, including a health scare earlier in the year where he vomited blood during a flight.
“For my children to see me finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of 72,000 people... that’s a victory in itself,” Tyson said.
Jake Paul, who emerged victorious, celebrated the match's record-breaking viewership and teased future plans for his next fight.
