Malaysia Airlines Adds 112 Red-Eye Flights for Peak Season, Offers Fixed Fares for Chinese New Year

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 16 — Malaysia Airlines is ramping up services for the festive season by adding 112 additional red-eye flights between Kuala Lumpur and East Malaysia from December 19 to January 1, 2025. This includes 66 extra flights to/from Sabah and 46 to/from Sarawak, accommodating increased travel demand.

The airline will operate up to 596 flights between Kuala Lumpur and East Malaysia during this period. In addition, fixed fares for Chinese New Year start at RM349 one-way, available exclusively on the airline's website and app.

To further meet peak travel needs, Malaysia Airlines will also add 102 more red-eye flights between January 24 and February 4, 2025. Additionally, a seventh daily flight to Jakarta will begin on January 28, 2025, enhancing regional connectivity. Passengers are encouraged to book via the website or app and check in online for a smoother journey.
