KUALA LUMPUR — A 41-year-old male celebrity was arrested at his Cyberjaya home during a drug raid, where police found 60.3 grams of suspected cannabis in two transparent packets.
Sepang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman revealed that the suspect admitted to using cannabis for eight years. A urine test confirmed he tested positive for THC, the active compound in the drug.
The former reality TV participant has been remanded for five days, and investigations are ongoing under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Police are finalizing investigation papers for submission to the Deputy Public Prosecutor.
