Kuala Lumpur — Repairs at the sinkhole site in front of Wisma Melayu are set to be completed by the end of the month, with normal activities expected to resume early next year, according to Dr Zaliha Mustafa, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories).
She also confirmed that restoration at the second sinkhole site near the Jalan Masjid India police beat was finished in November, and affected roads were reopened.
Additionally, the government has allocated RM10 million in Budget 2025 for geotechnical studies on soil structure at key roads in Kuala Lumpur, with DBKL gathering feedback from various agencies to aid in the soil investigation reports
