Kuala Lumpur — PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is expecting a 14% surge in traffic during the Christmas and year-end holidays, with daily vehicle numbers hitting 2.12 million, up from the usual 1.85 million. The increased traffic will occur from this weekend through January 2, 2024.

To help ease congestion, PLUS urges highway users to plan their journeys using the MyPLUS-TTA digital itinerary available on the MyPLUS app. This tool helps distribute traffic more evenly, reducing the likelihood of bottlenecks.

For real-time traffic updates, drivers can use the Virtual Assistant-PUTRI, the X@plustrafik app, electronic signage, or call PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 for assistance. PLUS also recommends using navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps to check current traffic conditions.
