KUALA LUMPUR — The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) today announced the mutual termination of contracts involving several key personnel across the senior and under-23 squads.

In a statement, FAM said the contract of Harimau Malaya chief executive officer (CEO) Robert Douglas Friend, better known as Rob Friend, was terminated by mutual agreement, effective June 1.

FAM also confirmed that the contracts of Harimau Malaya head coach Peter Cklamovski and two members of the senior team’s technical staff, Matthew Smith and Seiya Imazaki, were mutually terminated effective June 16, 2026

Meanwhile, the contracts of national under-23 head coach Nafuzi Zain and goalkeeping coach Mohd Yazid Mohd Yassin were also ended by mutual agreement, effective June 15, 2026.
