Epic Games Introduces Parental Controls for Fortnite Playtime Management

Epic Games has rolled out new features allowing parents to control how long and when their children can play Fortnite. This move addresses growing concerns among parents and educators regarding screen time, exposure to violence, and online safety.

The updated parental controls will alert kids when they are close to reaching their daily playtime limits. Parents can set specific hours for gameplay and receive reports on their child’s gaming duration—the "Time Limit" feature functions across all devices and consoles linked to the same account. 

In addition to these time restrictions, Epic offers over a dozen parental controls, including options to manage whom children can chat with and filters for mature language.
