LOS ANGELES — Authorities in Idaho have discovered a dead man and a firearm on Canfield Mountain, where gunmen earlier ambushed firefighters battling a blaze.
Kootenai County Sheriff's Office confirmed the body was found Sunday evening by a SWAT team, with a gun located nearby.
The shelter-in-place order, imposed during the standoff, has now been lifted.
