PUTRAJAYA — The Federal Court will announce its verdict tomorrow on the final appeal of six men sentenced to death for the 2015 murder of Deputy Public Prosecutor Datuk Anthony Kevin Morais.

A three-member bench led by Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat will deliver the ruling, after reserving judgment on May 14.

The six convicted — including former pathologist Colonel Dr R. Kunaseegaran, S. Ravi Chandran, and four others — were found guilty by the High Court in July 2020. The Court of Appeal upheld the verdict in March 2023.

Morais was last seen on September 4, 2015, leaving his condo for work. His body was discovered 12 days later in a concrete-filled drum in Subang Jaya.
