SHAH ALAM — Selangor police confirmed that the fatal shooting of a 46-year-old man in Meru, Klang on June 20 was tied to a secret society conflict.
Two local suspects, aged 25 and 40, believed to be gang members, were arrested in Klang, said Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.
“This wasn’t a random act. The motive appears linked to a gang dispute — possibly over territory, drugs, or other issues,” he said.
Authorities are still investigating whether it was a contract killing or carried out directly by gang members.
The victim was found shot dead in his four-wheel-drive vehicle outside a motorcycle shop in Taman Meru Utama.
