KUALA LUMPUR — A 61-year-old nasi lemak seller and his girlfriend were charged in the Ampang Sessions Court today over the rape of her 12-year-old daughter in Taman Seraya last year.
Azman Hasim pleaded not guilty to raping the girl, while her 37-year-old mother, a security guard, denied abetting the crime.
Both face up to 20 years in jail and whipping if convicted. The court denied bail and set August 7 for mention and counsel appointment.
