KUALA LUMPUR — A 46-year-old musician was arrested in Pandan Indah, Ampang Jaya yesterday for allegedly attacking his housemate with a guitar stand after a door-slamming argument.

Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Mohd Azam Ismail said the dispute began Monday morning when the 52-year-old victim, annoyed by a loud bathroom door slam, retaliated by slamming it back. The suspect then struck him with a guitar stand and threatened further violence.

The musician was detained at 4.45pm and a black guitar stand was seized as evidence. He was released after questioning.

The case is being probed under Sections 324 and 506 of the Penal Code for causing hurt with a weapon and criminal intimidation
