The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is investigating a milk powder supplier for allegedly manipulating tender prices by 10-50% and monopolizing supply contracts to a government department, involving products worth RM120 million that reportedly did not meet SIRIM standards.

The probe, dubbed Op White, targets a company owned by a married couple and their sons, focusing on tax issues, corruption, and monopolistic practices. MACC has frozen 75 accounts (24 individual, 51 company) totaling RM174.6 million and seized relevant documents, mobile phones, and laptops.

So far, 10 witnesses have been interviewed, with another son of the owners expected to give a statement next week. While no new arrests have been made since the initial three family members, investigations are ongoing, including into the government department directly involved in the contracts. MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed the suspected RM120 million milk powder supply cartel that has been operating for two decades. The case is being investigated under the MACC Act 2009 and the AMLATFPUAA 2001.
